Senior UX Designer with PM/PO attributes for next generation of onboard experiences for the automotive industry
Start date: 2024-04-01\ End date: 2024-07-31\ \ This is an opportunity to be part of a team that impact our future products and the transport industry as a whole.\ - To deliver a safe, efficient and enjoyable driver interaction.\ - To enable flexibility to different users, different brands and future updates.\ \ This position will be splitted between coordination, prioritization and stakeholder management as well as traditional UX Designer tasks. The main project is focused on the next generation of trucks, vehicle related functionalities, electromobility as well as onboard connected services. All phases including research and conceptualization to drive high level requirements as well as implementation and testing. Secure premium HMI and driver experience for future Volvo Trucks as well as multibrand solutions. Working closely with a team of UX Designer and being one of the main interfaces towards one or several development teams, aligning with many stakeholders for input and feedback on demos etc.\ \ Previous experience - prerequisite:\ - Minimum 7-10+ years experience as UX / UI / Interaction Designer.\ - Strong concept and visualization.\ - Extensive collaboration skills.\ - Insights into the latest trends in automotive and other technology areas.\ - Framework understanding of Android Automotive OS (AAOS).\ \ Previous experience - desired:\ - Automotive industry, large organisations, premium brands, design och conceptualization.\ - Ideally able to cross between UX/UI and front end development to drive prototyping.\ - Understand and interpret data in a structured way.\ - Experience of combining HW/SW for complex and critical applications (control panels).\ \ Tools and required level of expertise:\ - Expert user in Figma, Zeplin, Adobe suite and XD and Microsoft Office.\ \ Portfolio:\ - Prerequisite to have a well developed portfolio to show.\ \ Personality:\ - Critical thinker, strong communicator, confident presenter (concept and design reviews), strong collaborator, own drive and ability to also work independently of others.
