Full Stack Developer

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who can architect, design and develop.

The team are looking for a full-stack developer to contribute to the development of a web application, with emphasis on both front- and backend development. 

The web application will be developed for both the company's operational managers and the third-party subcontractors. The purpose of the application is:

• Analyze and suggest actions on subcontractor performance KPI’s
• Monitor earnings 
• Strategic/tactical analytic insight 

The consultant should have prior experience in working with data heavy solutions and be able to participate in discussions and workshops focusing on a wide range of aspects related to the modus operandi of the company, and how the proposed changes fit within the existing system landscape.

As the data platform is built on the Azure tech stack, prior experience in working with the Azure tech stack, and experience in working with modern data platforms is important. Previous experience working the last mile delivery planning and route optimization is a plus.

Description of assignment

To support the developing and testing of the outsourcing business model we have developed a short term PowerBi solution that has been the foundation for:

• Calculation and handling of settlement reports
• Daily static performance reports 

All reports are available for both external subcontractors and internal operational staff.

The outsourcing model has matured, and we see a need to move to another platform, to support the future ideas needed to manage a subcontractor-based operation.

Joining an ongoing project with an existing team. Some knowledge transfer expected.

Education and experience

• Establish requirements for software to be developed
• Design and develop microservices 
• Design REST APIs including implementing authentication & authorization 
• Structure both frontend and backend code in isolated components/modules to facilitate testing, maintainability and extendability
• Test both frontend and backend code using unit and integration tests
• Experience with building software using SOLID principles

Frontend:

• React + Typescript
• StencilJs (framework agnostic FE components)

Backend:

• Microservice architecture
• Java (Spring Boot)

Infrastructure / DevOps:

• Azure cloud environment and services
• Containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift)
• GitHub and/or GitOps using Tekton for CI, ArgoCD for CD

Language requirements:

English is required. Fluency in Danish is a big plus, and basic understanding of Swedish is helpful.    

Level:  

We are looking for a full-stack developer who can do coding work as well as solution design. You will work as part of a Scrum team and interact with business users to understand the requirements.

At least 3 years’ experience working with data-heavy web applications.

Location:

The majority of the work will be done in Copenhagen, Denmark. Some travels to Stockholm could occur. We allow hybrid work practices, and if agreed with the project manager, then it will be possible to work from home/off-site.

Content and extent of assignment

100% allocation until 30 JUN 2025 with possible extension.
